SAFeR: A systematic approach to assist IPV survivors and their children
This self-paced course introduces learners to the SAFeR Approach.
SAFeR guides the family court system in producing safer, more workable outcomes for survivors and their children.
SAFeR guides professionals to systematically Screen for domestic violence (DV) in every case, Assess the full nature and context of any DV detected, Focus on the effects of the violence, and Respond to the lived experiences of survivors and their children by crafting tailored parenting arrangements. This course equips participants with the core principles, tools, and strategies necessary to promote safety, accountability, and effective decision-making in their day-to-day roles.
