Critical Issues Forum: Representing and Advocating for Teen Survivors

The National Center on Protection Orders and Full Faith and Credit hosted a special critical issues forum focusing on representing and advocating for youth survivors of intimate partner violence in protection order matters. One in three teens nationally report experiencing some kind of abuse in their romantic relationships, including verbal and emotional abuse. This forum, presented by Norah Rexer, Associate Director of Legal Services, and Bianca Hernandez, Senior Staff Attorney, with Day One, is designed for attorneys and advocates to better understand the unique considerations that come into play when helping teen and young adult survivors.
