This best practice assessment is designed to assist communities in implementing the values and practice strategies outlined in Civil Protection Orders: A Guide for Improving Practice.

In order to evaluate existing practices against the best practices described in the CPO Guide, communities must engage in an assessment of their current protection order system. This assessment guide was developed by NCPOFFC to assist local communities in that effort.
