During the prolonged COVID-19 crisis, sexual and intimate partner violence prevention practitioners have come to appreciate community connectedness as a protective factor against multiple forms of violence, including sexual and intimate partner violence. Making the connections between sexual and intimate partner violence prevention and community connectedness can be difficult, as there aren’t as many resources in this area of prevention as there are for others.

Join PreventConnect and preventionists from Minnesota to discuss how they envision community connectedness as a protective factor against sexual and intimate partner violence across the socioecological model, and how this enabled them to identify new avenues for strengthened partnerships.
