Using Evaluation and Community Data to Inform Your Programs, Make an Impact, and Build Sustainability

As part of the Rape Prevention and Education (RPE) Program, sub-grantees participate in evaluation activities so that they can show how their programs work and document their impact on their schools and communities. As part of this web conference, presenters from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and University of California San Diego (UCSD), will summarize the data they have collected thus far from RPE programs throughout the state of California.

This web conference will also describe how RPE programs can use their documented process and outcome data, as well as county-level data, that provides context to their RPE work. Additional presenters include RPE sub-grantees who will provide concrete examples of how they are using the data at a local level. Using a new toolkit that has been developed by CDPH, presenters will share additional examples of how prevention programs can apply the data to work with schools’ Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP).

At the end of the web conference, participants will be able to:

  • Summarize RPE evaluation data for the state of California thus far.
  • Describe how to utilize the data that RPE grantees collect from the primary evaluation of RPE.
  • Describe local RPE community and county data and provide examples of how to use it.
