In October 2025, BWJP and Centre for Public Impact co-hosted “Reimagining a Whole-of-Society Approach to Ending Gender-Based Violence: Strategies for Action” in Chicago. This gathering brought together survivors, advocates, city officials, researchers, philanthropists and community partners to advance a resilient movement and chart new expanded pathways. This report summarizes the powerful conversations that took place and lays out recommendations for moving forward.

This multigenerational gathering brought advocates with decades of experience together with younger generations with fresh ideas and new perspectives. The result was a rich conversation that featured shared storytelling, support, and reimagining the future of work to end gender-based violence and foster healthy, thriving communities.
