Various forms of technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV), such as the non-consensual distribution of intimate images (including intimate imagery generated with AI tools), cyberstalking, and sextortion, are increasingly widespread. The devastating consequences of online abuse are often overlooked or minimized, while survivors encounter significant barriers to safety, services, and support.

Join us for this virtual convening to learn about key resources, promising practices in advocacy, and the enactment and implementation of recent legislation (such as the Take It Down Act), as well as other efforts nationally and globally to prevent and address online abuse.

Speakers include:

  • Rosie Hidalgo, MOSAIC Co-Director
  • Jennifer Landuis, Director of the National Resource Center on Cybercrimes Against Individuals (NRCC); & Director of the Stalking Prevention, Awareness, and Resource Center (SPARC) at Aequitas
  • Lara Pham, Interim Executive Director - Cyber Civil Rights Initiative
  • Cailin Crockett, Independent Consultant; Policy Advisor - StopNCII.org; & Advisory Committee Member - Cyber Civil Rights Initiative
  • Lindsey Song, Director, Technology - Facilitated Abuse Initiative at Sanctuary for Families; & Co-Chair, New York Cyber Abuse Task Force
